About CENTURION in Oman

Centurion Gate Motors Oman

Centurion Systems has been building gate automation in Johannesburg since 1986, and it is the only brand we carry that was designed from the beginning for conditions like ours rather than for northern Italy.

That is not marketing. It is the reason we stock it.

Built for heat, dust and power cuts

Every major Centurion operator runs on 24 volts with a battery on board, charged continuously from the mains. When the power goes off the gate keeps working, for a hundred cycles or more depending on the model. No manual release, no getting out of the car, no difference at all until the electricity comes back.

In a country where a compound entrance losing power means residents queueing on the road, that is worth more than any specification on a datasheet.

Their surge protection is also unusually serious, because South African power is no kinder than Omani power. Lightning and surges kill more control boards here than heat does, and Centurion designs for it.

What we hold

  • D5 Evo, for villa and light compound sliding gates
  • D10, for heavy and industrial sliding gates
  • Swing gate operators for single and double leaf
  • Road barriers for car parks and estates
  • Nova receivers and remote handsets

Where we specify it

Compounds, estates, farms, anywhere off the main grid, and any gate where being stuck outside during a power cut is genuinely a problem. It costs more than an entry level Italian operator and on a quiet villa gate you may not need it.

Tell us where the gate is and how often the power there is reliable, and we will tell you whether Centurion is worth it for you.
