The BFT Mitto B RCB02 is a two channel handset on 433.92 MHz rolling code, with a range of 50 to 100 metres. It is the standard replacement for a lost or failed BFT remote on gates, barriers and garage doors. We hold it in Al Khuwair and pair it to your board free if you can bring the gate to us or us to the gate.
Will it work with my gate
Check two things on the back of your old handset. It must say BFT, and it must say 433 or 433.92. If your old one is an 868 MHz unit, this will not work and you need a different handset.
The RCB02 pairs to BFT receivers across the range, including gate operators, boom barriers and garage door units. If you are not certain, photograph the back of your old remote and the plate on your motor and send both to us. We will confirm before you buy anything.
Two channels, and what the second one does
Channel one opens the gate. Channel two can be paired to a second device on the same property, so one handset opens the gate and the garage door. If you need four devices on one handset, ask for the RCB04 instead.

Pairing it
A rolling code handset has to be taught to the control board. It cannot be copied from another remote at a kiosk, because the code changes on every press and a copy stops working almost immediately.
There are two routes. At the board, using the receiver’s learn button. Or on many BFT receivers, from a handset that is already paired, without opening anything.
Buy the BFT Mitto B RCB02 from us and we pair it at the counter at no charge. Buy it elsewhere and call us anyway. We will talk you through the sequence for your specific board over the phone, free, because it takes two minutes and is not worth a call out for either of us.
Worth knowing before you buy
BFT has marked this model as phase out. It still works, it still pairs to every board it always did, and we still stock it, so if you are replacing a lost handset on an existing gate this is the right purchase.
If you are fitting a new gate today, ask us about the Mitto Cool C2 instead. Same rolling code system, current production, and it will be easier to add matching handsets to in five years.
Common questions
Can the shop at the mall copy my old one
No. Rolling code changes on every press, so a copy records an expired code. It may open the gate once and then never again. It has to be paired at the board.
My remote suddenly stopped working
Change the 23A battery first. That fixes most of them. If a fresh battery does not, the pairing may have been erased from the receiver and we can restore it.
Can you deliver outside Muscat
Yes, to all eleven governorates, cash on delivery. Small items usually arrive within a few days. See delivery.
Not sure which handset you need? Send a photograph of the back of your old one and we will tell you, at no cost.
