Most sliding gate motors stop the gate using a physical or magnetic limit switch, a small mechanical part that wears, can be knocked out of position, and gathers sand over years of outdoor use. The DEUS 6 HP has none. It uses a double encoder system instead, which tracks the gate’s exact position electronically and stops it precisely without any mechanical switch to fail.
In a climate where blown sand works its way into every moving mechanical part, removing one entirely is a genuine advantage, not a marketing point. There is nothing at the end of the gate’s travel to adjust, replace, or clean.
