Check your gate length against the included rack
This kit includes 4 nylon rack sections. Standard nylon gate rack is supplied in 1 metre lengths with dovetail joints, so the kit gives you approximately 4 metres of rack.
That comfortably covers most single leaf villa gates. If your gate leaf is longer than around 3.5 to 4 metres, you will need extra rack sections, which we stock separately. Measure your gate leaf before ordering and tell us the length, so we can confirm whether the kit rack is enough or whether to add pieces to your order.
Built for intensive use, which matters in Omani heat
This motor is rated intensive use, meaning it is built to run through many cycles without the rest periods a lighter duty motor needs.
For a compound or shared entrance gate opening dozens of times a day, that rating is the difference between a motor that keeps pace and one that overheats by afternoon. For a quiet villa gate opening a handful of times a day, a lighter motor would do the same job, but there is no downside to having more than you need here.

The control board includes a virtual encoder for smooth slowdown at each end of travel, automatic torque adjustment through the STC system, and amperometric anti crushing detection that stops the gate if it meets an obstacle. It is also KNX and MQTT ready for anyone integrating it with a smart home system.

Installation
Our engineer fits the rack along the gate leaf, mounts the motor to a concrete or steel base plate, sets the pinion mesh, wires the photocells and flashing light, and programs the control board’s torque and slowdown settings for your specific gate weight.
We install across all eleven governorates from our shop in Al Khuwair.
