If your gate is the only vehicle access to the property, or a power cut leaving it stuck shut is a real problem, our Deimos BT A600 is worth the extra cost. If mains power is reliable where you are and you want a straightforward, lower cost motor, this AC version does the same 600 kg job without that feature.
No slowdown, and what that means for how the gate actually moves
This is the one genuine trade off worth knowing before you buy. This motor has no slowdown function. The gate runs at full speed until it reaches each end of travel and stops there, rather than easing in the way BT models do.
It is not a fault and it does not shorten the gate’s life in any meaningful way on a domestic gate. It is simply a less refined stop, and if you have watched a BT motor ease a gate closed and want the same on this one, that feature is not here.

Rack and what is in the kit
This motor drives a module 4 rack. If your gate already has rack fitted, photograph the teeth and send it to us, since a module 6 rack will not mesh with this pinion.

Installation across Oman
Our engineer sets the fixing plate, fits the rack along the gate leaf, sets the pinion mesh, wires the photocells and flashing light, then programs the force settings to suit your gate weight.

Common questions
What is the difference between this and the BT A600?
This is the 230V mains version, so it does not take a backup battery and has no slowdown at the end of travel. The BT A600 runs on 24V, takes a battery, and eases the gate to a stop. Both are rated to 600 kg.
Will it work during a power cut?
No. This is a 230V mains motor with no battery backup option. For that, our Deimos BT A600 is the right choice.
Will it work with the rack already on my gate?
Only if that rack is module 4. Send us a photograph of the teeth and we will confirm before you buy.
What is the price?
OMR 142.000 for the complete kit. Installation is quoted separately.
