The BFT Athos AC A40 AR is an Italian 230V swing gate motor. It takes gate leaves up to 4 metres long and 400 kg. The AR means motor right. BFT Athos AC A40 AR protection and temperature
The motor is rated IP54 and works from minus 20°C to plus 55°C. IP54 covers dust that cannot harm the motor, and splashing water. The shells are die cast aluminium, and the transmission uses a bronze crown. Keep the rod clean of sand, and keep the cover on.

Installing a BFT Athos AC A40 AR swing gate motor in Oman
The front and rear brackets line up, so the motor fits even in a pillar niche. Our engineer checks the hinges and the leaf balance first. We fix the brackets level, set the work time and slowdown, and test the electronic clutch. Then we wire the photocells and measure the impact force.
