Some listings give the 6M 940 N, 2.6 A and 13.6 kg. Those are the BULL 8M figures. The 6M pulls 650 N. Judge a gate by its weight and its push force, not by the biggest number on a listing.
Beninca BULL 6M cycles per hour and duty
Beninca gives the BULL 6M a 30% duty cycle and publishes no cycle count on its product page. Beninca classes it for residential use. A family villa gate suits it. A shared compound, a shop or a staff yard does not. At 10.5 metres a minute, a 5 metre gate takes about 29 seconds to open.
Beninca BULL 6M virtual encoder and safety devices
The BULL 6M has a virtual encoder that senses an obstacle and the gate position. The control unit is built in, with a 230V switching power supply and a receiver. A motor with obstacle sensing still needs safety devices. The kit has photocells. We also check the force at the leading end, and we quote a sensitive edge if the gate needs one.
Beninca BULL 6M magnetic limit switches or the LT version
The standard BULL 6M SE.S uses magnetic limit switches. Beninca also makes the BULL 6MLT SE, with spring limit switches and no encoder. Ask us which one is in the box. The parts for the two are not the same, and the LT does not have the obstacle sensor.
Beninca BULL 6M in Oman heat and dust
The motor works from minus 20°C to plus 50°C and is rated IP44. IP44 covers splashes and objects over 1 mm, but not fine dust. Summer sits at the top of that range, so keep the cover shaded and the track clear of sand. Magnetic limit switches have no moving contacts to clog with sand, which helps in Oman.

Installing a Beninca BULL 6M sliding gate motor in Oman
Our engineer checks the track, wheels and balance. The gate needs a mechanical stopper at each end. We cast the foundation plate level, set the rack clear of the pinion and fit the magnets.
