The Beninca BULL 8M is an Italian 230V sliding gate motor kit for gates up to 800 kg. It is the strongest motor in Beninca’s BULL M range. It pulls 940 N and draws 2.6 A. Speed and duty cycle are the same. The 8M adds thrust and weight capacity. Choose it when the gate is heavy, or when the push force on the track is high. Choose the 6M for a lighter gate that opens a few times an hour.
Beninca BULL 8M duty cycle and daily use
Beninca gives the BULL 8M a 30% duty cycle and publishes no cycle count on its product page. Each time a car leaves and returns, the gate does two cycles. At 10.5 metres a minute, a 5 metre gate takes about 29 seconds to open. A large villa fits well. A busy shared entrance needs a talk with us first. Tell us how many cars use the gate on a normal day. We will say if the 8M suits that, or if a heavier motor is the safer choice.
Beninca BULL 8M virtual encoder and control unit
The BULL 8M has a virtual encoder that senses an obstacle and the gate position. The control unit is the CP.BULL8 OM, with an LCD display and a receiver for 64 remotes. A motor with obstacle sensing still needs safety devices. The kit has photocells. We also check the force at the leading end, and we quote a sensitive edge for an 800 kg gate.
Beninca BULL 8M in Oman heat and dust
The motor works from minus 20°C to plus 50°C and is rated IP44. IP44 covers splashes and objects over 1 mm, but not fine dust. Summer sits at the top of that range, so keep the cover shaded and the track clear of sand. Magnetic limit switches have no moving contacts to clog with sand, which helps in Oman.

Installing a Beninca BULL 8M sliding gate motor in Oman
Our engineer checks the track, wheels and balance. A heavy gate must stay put when stopped halfway, and it needs a mechanical stopper at each end. We cast the foundation plate level, set the rack clear of the pinion and fit the magnets. Then we wire the photocells and set the obstacle sensor. The key release opens the gate by hand in a power cut. Tell us your gate weight and length on WhatsApp first. We will confirm the 8M suits it before you pay.
