Confirm your rack module before ordering
At 1200 kg this motor sits above the weight class where some manufacturers step up from a standard module 4 rack to a heavier module 6. We have not been able to confirm from Life’s own documentation which one the AC12R DL uses, and we would rather ask than guess.
If you already have rack fitted to your gate, photograph the tooth profile and send it to us on WhatsApp before you order. If this is a new installation, tell us and we will supply matching rack with the motor.
Which Life ACER motor is this, and which one do you actually need
We stock the full ACER range, and the number in the name is the gate weight in kilograms.

There is also an AC12R M DL, carrying the same 1200 kg rating but with magnetic limit switches instead of electromechanical ones. This listing is the standard DL version. If a manual or a quote refers to the M DL, tell us before ordering, since the boards are not interchangeable spares.

A 35 percent duty cycle suits a compound or commercial gate opening a normal number of times a day. For a shared entrance opening very frequently, tell us the daily cycle count and we will confirm this is still the right choice.

Installation
Our engineer confirms your rack module before fitting, mounts the motor to its base plate, sets the pinion mesh, wires the photocells, flashing light and remote receiver, then programs the force and slowdown settings for a 1200 kg gate.

Is this the right ACER for my gate?
The AC12R DL is rated to 1200 kg. Send us your gate weight and we will confirm, or move you to a different model in the range from 400 kg up to 1500 kg.
What rack does it need?
We confirm this with you before dispatch rather than assume. Photograph your existing rack, or tell us this is a new installation and we will supply matching rack.
What is the difference between AC12R DL and AC12R M DL?
Both are rated to 1200 kg. DL uses electromechanical limit switches, M DL uses magnetic ones. This listing is the DL version.
What is included in the kit?
The motor, the Digital Life control unit, two MAXI2 remotes, a pair of VISIO photocells, a flashing light, push button and fixing plate, plus 4 metres of rack.
